San Antonio Tea Party

By:  Jimmy Trammell

San Antonio, Texas (July 5, 2009) - The San Antonio Tea Party did a superb job in putting together an event that brought us back to a real- American Independence Day.

Every speaker had a different topic but had the same message: WE NEED TO TAKE AMERICA BACK, and to call on God for repentance and His intervention!

Not one speaker told us that it was the elected that needed to do this, but it is you and me. We were also reminded that the elected work for us, and not us for them.

I do not know how many were in attendance; however I do know that there were people from all walks of life and all ages. It was the people that I watched, more than who or what was on stage.

Kids playing at the playground, people that were polite and friendly. Even at the end of the day the most notable thing to me was how clean the grounds were. The staff at the ranch did a fantastic job, but it was the individual who had personal responsibility and kept their area clean. This may seem petty, but in most other events the attitude seems to be, “that's the clean-up crew's job”.

There is no more inspiring thing than to be around than responsible Americans who know what personal responsibility is. That is one more reason why I have more hope faith than ever that we can take America back!

The message was plain: get active, stay informed, and seek God more that you ever have. Thank you San Antonio Tea party and everyone who came for giving me the first REAL 4th of July.
