Dear Mr. Kreep,

I have been a lifelong Republican, never have voted for a Democrat, and never would.  Ever since Clinton's administration and the Congress behind him, I have seen Republican "representatives" slip and slide down the proverbial slope, prevaricating, compromising and selling themselves to advance their political careers.

I have supported the Republican party as a conservative over the past several years.

By Diana Furchtgott-Roth WASHINGTON - What one finds when reading congressional legislation is invariably surprising. Take the Dodd-Frank financial regulation bill, for instance, which was created by merging Senate and House bills and passed this week.  What is in this so-called "financial bill" is both shocking and, at the same time, revealing about how far government regulations will throttle, even kill off, business and industry.  While search the bill about technical issues...

Washington, DC - Last spring, President Obama managed to corral the votes of a half dozen formerly pro-life Democrats in the House of Representatives for his takeover of health care. Congressman Bart Stupak (D-Mich.) had been a staunch supporter of pro-life initiatives for nearly twenty years in Congress. Tragically for him, and even more tragically for the country, Stupak fell in line behind the White House. For months he had held out, bravely. Then, at the eleventh hour, he caved in. He and his cohorts switched from being pro-lifers to being “faux lifers.”

Notes from a Martian:  In Views from a Foreigner on July 3, 2010 at 8:06 pm I am really getting scared now for my earthly off springs in the USA. Last week Sunday on Mars, friends and I were watching the G-20 deliberations in Toronto on a FARSIGHT screen that gives us access to Earth TV channels. As Man from Mars I must hold financial interests on Earth for the sake of Kathryn’s and the mixed kiddos Pete and Sue, so I have to keep track of where Earth is heading financially. It didn’t look good.

I am a Dutch foreigner (or "alien") working in the USA. I was worried about all these things during the Obama campaign because I had heard/seen that before. But the Republicans had no credible leader. John McCain was visibly uncomfortable on the TV screen and no match to the Pied Piper (nor was Mrs. Clinton). And there is still no credible conservative leader now. The public who feels deceived wants a leader who stands out and they have no one to look at and listen to. Romney writes books but is no warrior. Sarah Palin holds speeches and may convince women but that's not enough. Boehner and McDonnel talk well but don't inspire.

By John Campbell Member of Congress

Spending Reductions:The spending lobby, the mainstream media, recipients of taxpayer largess, and virtually all elected Democrats would have you believe that we have already cut spending to the bone and that there is no more to be done and the economy and people will suffer if we cut any more, so you we must pay a bunch more in taxes to prevent this calamity.

Baloney! Rubbish! No Way, Dude!  Here is a list that just scratches the surface:

Washgington, DC - A Toyota report from Congressman John Campbell - who used to be a major car dealer in Orange County before losing his sanity and getting elected to congress:

Quote of the week: "Is there any chance that the Camry Hybrid will be recalled…I just want to find out if you expect it ever to be on the recall list, for any reason."- Delegate Eleanor Holmes Norton (D-D.C.) questioning Toyota CEO Akio Toyoda and COO Yoshimi Inaba in the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee.  After that tomfoolery, it only got worse...

Washington, DC - President Barack Obama has unveiled his budget for fiscal year 2011. It is a monstrosity. It increases spending, it increases taxes, it increases debt, and it increases the deficit.

That's bad enough, but that's not the half of it. The spending, taxes, debt and deficit go out as far as the eye can see. The deficits average just short of $1 trillion per year over the 12-year period outlined in the budget, even with the administration's overly optimistic economic assumptions. By comparison, the average annual deficit during the years (1994-2006) that Republicans controlled Congress was $104 billion. That deficit was too high then, but this deficit simply has no comparison.

Washington, DC - Congressman John Campbell (R-CA), one of the country's true conservatives who has yet to yield his conservativism to expediency, writes today about the fiasco known as the "Pelosi Health Care Bill".

Mr. Campbell, from Orange County, spent decades successfully running businesses in California, providing thousands of jobs and successfully competing for the consumer dollars.  So his viewpoints deserve attention in light of the job-killing and economy-blasting effect of Pelosicare.

Timothy Geithner - Obama's Secretary of the Treasury - is a known tax cheat and prevaricator.  He was approved by the Democratically-controlled Senate over strong moral and ethical objections by conservatives.  This Bloomberg article by Robert Schmidt explores in depth how Geithner has further corrupted the Treasury Department and, indeed, the entire Obama administration, by a wanton import of shady and dishonorable Wall Street types who have personally reaped billions in profits from US bailout funds and now intend to do the same working for tax cheat Geithner.

Summary; Why is anyone surprised at what has been exposed within the recent “public- ally” (as in allied) revealed email hacks of the science and climate control study communities? Surely most Republicans and Conservatives  as well as the left folk, have been “on to” Al Gore, and the whole CLIMATE CHANGE farce, and the upcoming Climate Summit / Global Warming / G 20-21, meetings in Copenhagen?? Yes? No? Has anyone seen their opening ceremony’s “ad-dorsement” with the little kids pleading to us to save the world?
