Oil continues to spew, but Obama -- thanks to a news shut down in the Gulf, cooperation from the media, and Obama's crony BP posing as the "bad cop" -- is escaping political blame and consequences. This can't last. November is key.

Timothy Geithner - Obama's Secretary of the Treasury - is a known tax cheat and prevaricator.  He was approved by the Democratically-controlled Senate over strong moral and ethical objections by conservatives.  This Bloomberg article by Robert Schmidt explores in depth how Geithner has further corrupted the Treasury Department and, indeed, the entire Obama administration, by a wanton import of shady and dishonorable Wall Street types who have personally reaped billions in profits from US bailout funds and now intend to do the same working for tax cheat Geithner.
