Spending Reductions:The spending lobby, the mainstream media, recipients of taxpayer largess, and virtually all elected Democrats would have you believe that we have already cut spending to the bone and that there is no more to be done and the economy and people will suffer if we cut any more, so you we must pay a bunch more in taxes to prevent this calamity.

By:  Josh Gerstein of Politico   Washington, DC - The Council on American-Islam Relations (CAIR) is an un-indicted co-conspirator as it is one of the fronts of the Muslim Brotherhood, the leadership of which has many past times produced the worst terrorists the world has known. For example, CAIR supports Hamas.  Now, it is learned the the Obama administration has sent Attorney General Eric Holder to a function sponsored in part by CAIR as a keynote speaker.  Many allege that CAIR should be on the State department list of sponsors of terror.

Washington, DC - Congressman John Campbell (R-CA) reports that the new Pelosi bill that promotes Obamacare is "... more costly, more controlling and closer to socialism that the previous iteration..." based in no small part because the bill creates 111 news boards, agencies, commissions and programs. 

This number is more that twice that of the previous version of the bill called the "Baucas" bill that came out of the Senate.  Included in Pelosi's bill are, of course, the death panels that she spends most of her time trying to prove do not exist.

Written by Warner Todd Huston, the article provides an analysis of the stunning comparison of President Barack Obama to Adolph Hitler made by David Leonhardt, in a paper which is owned by a Jewish family.   In his article, Huston expresses amazement over two equally astonishing facts. First, Leonhardt's admission that Obama is just like Hitler, and second, Leonhardt didn't mean it as an insult. Leonhardt, Huston points out, was saying that it was a good thing that, in an economic sense, Obama was being like Hitler. Huston explains how Leonhardt encourages Americans to ignore World War II and the Holocaust and just focus on how Hitler's polices were good for Germany because Hitler, in essence, made the trains run on time. With a level of hubris reserved only for Democrats, Leonhardt wrote approvingly about how Obama is emulating Hitler's economic policies with massive "stimulus" spending and the take over of private industry.  Wait!  It gets much worse...

This was a 4th of July to remember! We all know that we, as Americans, have lost the true meaning of major holidays, such as Memorial Day and Veterans Day. Like most, I look forward to these holidays for the day off and hamburgers on the grill, and the 4th of July had been no different. As far as I can remember the 4th has meant to me fireworks and.....I guess that was it, but this 4th of July was different.

Burlington, Iowa (July 7, 2009) - With the cost of living spiraling including sky-high gasoline costs, the American voters are scratching their heads and trying their best to make ends meet.  One voter from Iowa wrote Senator Harkin asking for the necessary forms to become an illegal alien.  Don't laugh!  Reading his explanation for wanting to become an illegal alien makes the process sound completely logical.
